Through all the whimsy and tragedy in his life, Stanley Kim remains a resilient and challenge-hungry individual with his heart steady for those in need. Specializing in comic penciling and script-writing, Stanley produces extensive explorations of untapped imagination in the form of comics that carry his signature attention to detail, unprecedented combination of  concepts (often, sociocultural), and an emotionally riveting narrative that captures the hearts of his readers. 

As a Korean-American from “The World’s Borough” (Queens, NY), Stanley Kim lays lifelong witness to a plethora of cultures, mindsets, and aesthetics that augmented his tastes in art and ideas, embracing life’s complexities. Despite living with persistent poverty and conflicting identities, Stanley found fulfilling escape into many beloved stories like the Spider-Man trilogy (and comics) and “Dragon Ball” the animanga. Coupled with the life-altering heartbreaks of losing his grandmother and childhood dog, Stanley became deeply motivated to venture into the comics industry with the sole purpose of guiding the masses through the confrontation of pain and comfort of hope. 

Now established in NY and GA, Stanley Kim (StinkeyArtist) rigorously creates diverse indie comics such as “Stalwart Unbound,” “Conformity’s Rest,” and “The Fried Divide,” along with the whimsical, collaborative world of “Mewy’s Antics.”
